Applying to the Program
Our General Surgery residency is accredited by the ACGME (Program ID 4402500413), and has had a long legacy of osteopathic training under former AOA accreditation. Applicants with accreditation status or application questions should contact the program.
Residency applications will be only be accepted and reviewed via ERAS (Electronic Residency Application Service.) Applicants are encouraged to submit their completed applications when ERAS opens. This ensures prompt review of their applications and facilitates early correspondence and scheduling of interviews for selected candidates. We do not offer Observerships or Externships.
For the 2022 ERAS® cycle, our program will be participating in the supplemental ERAS application offered through the AAMC’s ERAS program. Applicants will be required to complete the MyERAS application, and participation in the supplemental ERAS application is optional.
Our program will host virtual interviews for the upcoming recruitment season, based on recommendations of APDS. Our goal is to communicate initial interview offers during the suggested window of October 27th to November 2nd.
